Check Your Website’s Performance with Our New Tool
We’ve launched a new Website Performance Checker to help you understand how well your site is really performing. By using Google’s PageSpeed Insights API, the tool analyses key aspects of your website and returns clear, percentage-based scores across the areas that matter most.
What the Tool Measures
Our checker gives you a quick overview of your site’s strengths and weaknesses, with scores in four key categories:
- Performance: How fast your pages load and respond
- Accessibility: How usable your site is for everyone
- Best Practices: How well your site follows modern standards
- SEO: How search-engine friendly your setup is
Being able to see these scores at a glance makes it easy to identify where your site is performing well and where there’s room for improvement. A strong set of scores often points to a site that feels faster, works better for all users, and follows recognised standards, which can directly impact user experience, search visibility, and overall effectiveness.
Core Web Vitals Included
In addition to the scores above, you’ll also see a breakdown of your Core Web Vitals, which give deeper insight into real-world performance. These include:
- LCP (Largest Contentful Paint): How quickly the main content loads
- CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift): How stable your page layout is as it loads
- FCP (First Contentful Paint): How soon users see the first content
These metrics are a little more technical, but they offer a powerful way to understand how your site actually feels to a group of real users. We provide overall rankings, median values, and distribution results, giving you a clear, data-driven picture of how your site performs beyond surface-level scores.
