Wishing David A Tidy Movember!

12th November, 2012

Each November the worldwide Movember campaign sees grown men everywhere sprouting moustaches with the aims of raising vital funds and awareness for men’s health, including prostrate and testicular cancer.

David Movember

At Tidy Design we are delighted to be cheering on Rosie’s brother David as he joins the Mo Bro Brotherhood. Starting this November with a clean-shaven face, David has been enthusiastically growing and grooming his moustache ever since.

With strict rules in place each Mo Bro is to conduct himself in a gentlemanly manner at all times.  There is to be no joining of the mo to the sideburns, (which is widely considered to be a beard) and no joining of the handlebars to the chin (that’s considered a goatee). David has of course agreed to abide by these instructions to the letter, as he grooms his moustache in a gentlemanly fashion, while raising valuable funds and conversation around the topic of men’s health.

Aided and abetted by his Mo Sista, Tidy Design’s very own Rosie, who is dedicated to supporting Mo Bros David  throughout his moustache growing journey,  he is inspired and supported throughout his experience by all here at Team Tidy.

Promoting valuable awareness of men’s health, while raising funds for programmes run by Movember, whose health partners include Prostrate Cancer UK and the Institute of Cancer Research, Movember work to support a broad range of innovative, world-class programmes, to raise awareness, education, survivorship and research.

Starting out in Melbourne, Australia, the now global Movember movement inspires more than 1.9 million Mo Bros and Mo Sistas to participate. Educating men about the health risks they face, and encouraging them to act on that knowledge, to increase chances of early detection, diagnosis and effective treatment, Movember is truly an inspirational cause.

Standing tall and celebrating the moustache in 2011, over 854,000 Mo Bros and their supportive Mo Sistas around the world raised a whopping GBP 79.3 million.

Huge changes in attitudes and habits towards men’s health are now taking place around the world. But there is still much to be done. Why not help us as we support one man’s mission – our David’s fine Movember tache  – and help create a lasting impact on the face of men’s health in the process?

A true Movember gentleman, he wishes to pass on his thanks to you for all your kind interest and support! Here at Tidy Design, we are excitedly awaiting the final results of his moustache-growing journey!
