Tidy Design loves a creative side project, so we’re excited to be making something for Big Screen Poetry! We’ll be using one of our Pompey Poems for this, celebrating the power of words and visuals on the big screen.
For those who’d like to submit their own poetry video, here are some key details:
- Entrants must be 18+
- Video format: MP4, resolution 1920x1080px or 1280x720px
- Image format: JPEG or PNG, landscape view
- Videos should be 2-3 minutes long (plus 10 seconds for poet’s name and title)
- Poets must perform their own original work
- No swearing, hate speech, or punching down
- Deadline for all submissions is 27th June 2025
Poets will be notified by 25th July if selected. The chosen videos will be shown throughout National Poetry Day, on 2nd October 2025 at Guildhall Walk. Read More.

Here at Tidy Design, we love side projects like this – staying creative is what we do best! Over the years, we’ve worked on a variety of passion projects, from publishing Pompey Poems to developing Southsea Vibe. Bringing ideas to life through design, words, or digital experiences is something we truly enjoy. We can’t wait to see some fantastic poetry on the big screen.
